Release tension, reduce stress and Relax - Restorative yoga is a great way to connect with body and mind at a deep level. Restorative yoga requires less effort and I also use yin yoga elements. We hold poses for longer and go into the deep tissue. It is like a deep tissue massage and you feel stretched and soft in the end. During the poses there is less talk and the focus is more on sensations and the experience itself, the connection between body and emotions, sensations and communication with self. We will use pillows, blocks and blanket. It is a meditative and reflective practice, some say spiritual.
